Pinocchio Comedia July 8 - 26 This refreshing version of the children's classic Pinocchio is written in Commedia dell'arte style, giving the story new vigor and making it entertaining for adults as well as children, without losing the charm and significant message of Collodi's famous story. This Harlequinade version of Pinocchio uses the original Italian commedia names, such as Arlecchino, who later became the French Harlequin. In true commedia fashion this wild and uninhibited play begins with a troupe of strolling players exploding into the theatre with their noisy props and crude scenery. Arlecchino plays a Cricket; Pantalone plays Geppetto; Razullo, a Fox; Beltrama, a Cat; Pulcinella, the Wicked Puppetmaster; Pedrolina, a Donkey and a Fool; Columbina, a Spirit, and Pinocchio plays himself. Summer Children's FUN!!!!!
Due to an overwhelming demand we are adding 3 more camps to our already sold out summer musical theatre schedule! One is in July, and the other 2 are for the last week in August before school begins.
