A Patrons Story . . .
Each summer two of our grandsons from Marble Falls spend a week with us. Marble Falls is north of Austin, a quaint little town that is expanding rapidly. However, there is no childrens theatre. I could call Fort Bend Theatre in advance and purchase front row seats for us and include the "in town" grandkids also. I remember one year when our granddaughter was only 3, and her mother was concerned that she would not "behave." Madi was totally enthralled with the play, and her eyes never left the stage. Where else could you take your grandchildren to a quality performance and it not "break the bank." I have supported Fort Bend Theatre for years at a minimum donation, wishing I could do more. Our grandchildren have enjoyed excellent performances that otherwise they would never have seen. I wish you a future that will offer the Fort Bend area a quality theatre without having to drive into Houston, and also give our Fort Bend actors the opportunity to perform. --Carolyn Bowden

Annie
Please note: For those of you that are new to theatre and do not understand what it means when it says "Called" - that is the way you are to know when to come. As explained in the parent meeting, all the girls are called either "Named Orphans" or simply "Orphans"(see below.) The principals (main actors) will be called by name, and everyone else is Ensemble - boy, teen and adult. If a rehearsal does not say Orphans. please do not send any little girls! Thank you!

Vocal work is red; Dance is blue; Stage work is black; Set work is green.
